Current Study:
After much prayer, thought, and discussion with our leadership we will be studying the Gospel of Luke and the book of Acts in the first quarter of 2025. These two books studied together really do a great job of painting the bigger picture of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, along with what the church looked like as it began and how we should be following their lead as a church even still today. Luke - Acts were written as companion books by Luke to Theophilus (I too decided to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus) as a witness to the "certainty" of the testimony of Jesus and the apostles.
About Us:
Our desire and hope is to be here to help you get connected in the church. Whether that will be only for a few months, or whether you decide to stay with us for the long term (or even if you want to come every once in a while, all of the above are fine by us)!
This small group/bible study was born out of a desire to connect people that either 1) feel disconnected in the church, 2) want to connect with others but don't know where to start, 3) want to join a mix of different age groups/stages of life, or 4) parents who have teens that attend on Wednesday night but also have a desire to get and be connected while the student ministry is going on.
Meeting Info:
We meet every Wednesday night at the church (currently on the first floor in the back of the sanctuary) from 6 PM - 8PM.
We coordinate and share a meal together typically from 6-6:30 PM provided and paid for through the group, contact Tahna Cody if you want to bring something when you come. During the meal we start with a group icebreaker quesiton to get to know each other a little better.
After the meal we jump into the study typicaly from 6:30 PM - 7:30(7:45) PM, finally we close out with prayer requests and a time of clean-up and putting away the tables & chairs.
